“Trick or Tea” at Disneyland

Come, let us have some tea and continue to talk about happy things.

-Chaim Potok

Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is always a fun season to visit the parks. The Disneyland Hotel started hosting a Halloween-themed tea a few years back, which is a nice twist on their popular Classic Afternoon Tea.

I thoroughly enjoyed my last Disneyland afternoon tea. I had heard that this year’s Halloween theme showcased the Disney Villains and couldn’t wait to see what little details were added.

Tea at the Huntington Rose Garden

“There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea.”

Jen, who dined with me at Napa Rose, came up with the idea to go to tea at a place called Two a Tea she had heard about in Glendora. Unfortunately, when she called, they were all booked for the Saturday afternoon that we had wanted to go. She found another place in Pasadena called Madeline Garden Bistro and Venue and we were able to get a lunch reservation there.

Excited for our first Adult Tea Party, we all bought new cute spring dresses and made outlandish speculations about how we were going to have the perfect afternoon birthday celebration.
